Arvind Q1 Consolidated net profit up 33% (YoY)
Arvind has announced the following Q1 results for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 (YoY):
Standalone
Net Profit rose by 11.31% to Rs87.45 crore Vs Rs78.56 crore.
Total Income increased by 12.13% to Rs1489.47 crore Vs Rs1328.29 crore.
Bata India tanks on flat Q1 earnings
Shares of footwear major Bata India on Thursday slumped 5% to Rs527 on NSE after the company reported a marginal rise in standalone net profit for the first quarter ended June 30, 2016.
Bata India on Wednesday reported a flat growth in standalone net profit at Rs50.49 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs50.18 crore during the April-June period a year ago.
Cummins India Q1 net profit down 14% (YoY)
Cummins India has announced the Q1 Unaudited Standalone results for the quarter ended June 30, 2016
Net Profit fell by 14.27% to Rs181.18 crore Vs Rs211.35 crore (YoY).
Total Income decreased by 5.03% to Rs1300.58 crore Vs Rs1369.57 crore (YoY).
Motherson Sumi Systems plans to raise Rs3, 500 crore
Motherson Sumi Systems' board yesterday decided to seek shareholders' approval to raise over Rs3, 500 crore with an objective to enhance long term resources.
The board decided with an objective to enhance long term resources to support the growth potential and to have the ability to raise capital at an appropriate time that an enabling resolution would be sought from shareholders in the ensuing AGM to be held on August 31.
NBCC gains on securing order worth Rs250 crore
NBCC (India) Ltd has announced that the Company had secured work for construction of 30 bedded ESIC Hospital at Baltikuri, West Bengal amounting to Rs250 cr approx.
