देश का शेयर बाजार गुरुवार को गिरावट के साथ खुला। शुरुआती कारोबार में प्रमुख सूचकांक सेंसेक्स सुबह 9.48 बजे 240.98 अंक फिसलकर 37,240.14 पर कारोबार करते देखा गया। निफ्टी भी लगभग इसी समय 37.40 अंकों की कमजोरी के साथ 11,048.00 पर कारोबार करते देखा गया। बंबई स्टॉक एक्सचेंज (बीएसई) का 30 शेयरों पर आधारित संवेदी सूचकांक सेंसेक्स सुबह 93.94 अंकों की गिरावट के साथ 37,387.18 पर, जबकि नेशनल स्टॉक एक्सचेंज (एनएसई) का 50 शेयरों पर आधारित संवेदी सूचकांक निफ्टी 25.2 अंकों की कमजोरी के साथ 11,060.20 पर खुला।

Morning news and update

The Nifty opened the session on a negative note and slipped tad below the 11,000 mark momentarily. However, Nifty recovered gradually from the lows of the day to end with modest gain. The Nifty added 0.26 per cent to close at 11,114. Even though Nifty closed in the marginally positive territory, it formed a lower low and lower high. After closing below the 200-DMA (11,148) on July 30, Nifty attempted a pullback, but the pullback was resisted at 200-DMA. As long as Nifty trades below the 200-DMA, there are chances of the index moving further down towards the 10,980 level. Going ahead, only faster retracement above the 200-DMA will boost the sentiments in the markets. Further, the index needs to form higher high-low and this would be the first sign of revival for the bulls.

Sun Pharmaceutical: Sun Pharmaceutical announced that one of its wholly-owned subsidiaries has filed an application for manufacturing and marketing authorisation of Tildrakizumab for moderate-to-severe psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis with the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA), Japan.

BOSCH: With a view to adjusting production to meet the demand for products and to avoid unnecessary buildup of inventory, the company proposes to suspend all manufacturing operations at the company's plant in Bidadi for three days from August 1 to 3, 2019.

ZEEL: The company has announced that Invesco Oppenheimer Developing Markets Fund has agreed to buy 11 per cent stake in ZEEL for a total consideration value of Rs 4,224 crore.

Unichem Laboratories: The United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) conducted inspection at the company's Goa formulation facility between July 22 to July 31, 2019. The inspection was a routine GMP surveillance and post approval inspection for its ANDAs submitted from this facility. At the end of the inspection, the facility received four observations, with no repeat observations and are mostly procedural in nature.

GMR Infrastructure: The meeting of board of directors of the company is scheduled on August 5 to consider and approve raising of funds to the tune of about Rs 27,300 crore via equity and debt.

Mindtree: Mindtree has joined Hyperledger to accelerate blockchain development.

CAPITALSTARS MORNING MAIL UPDATE : NIFTY LIKELY TO OPEN LOWER : 01 AUGUST 2019

Market Live: Nifty likely to open lower.

The Nifty50 is seen opening lower on Thursday following Asian markets which were trading lower after the U.S. Federal Reserve delivered a 25-basis-point rate cut as expected but dashed hopes of a lengthy easing cycle. Overnight, the Dow and the Nasdaq lost 1.2 percent each while the S&P 500 declined 1.1 percent. MSCI gauge of stocks across the globe slipped to a five-week low, said a Reuters report. Trends on SGX Nifty indicate a negative opening for the broader index in India, a with 0.39 percent loss or 43 points. Nifty futures were trading around 11,078-level on the Singaporean Exchange. As many as 53 companies will declare their results for June quarter which include names like Bharti Airtel, CEAT, Godrej Consumer, HCC, ICRA, JK Tyre, Marico, Raymond, Tata Power, and Varun Beverages among others.

Global Market:

Asian Markets: Asian markets are lower today as Chinese and Hong Kong shares fall. The Shanghai Composite is off 0.87% while the Hang Seng is down 0.80%. The Nikkei 225 is not trading.

US Markets: North and South American markets finished broadly lower today with shares in Brazil leading the region. The Bovespa is down 1.09% while U.S.'s S&P 500 is off 1.09% and Mexico's IPC is lower by 0.72%.

European Markets: European markets finished mixed as of the most recent closing prices. The DAX gained 0.34% and the CAC 40 rose 0.14%. The FTSE 100 lost 0.78%.

Rupee stands at 69.20 per dollar.

Ashok Leyland's net profit shrinks 45% yoy in Q1FY20 Meanwhile, Ashok Leyland said that its board has approved the plan to raise up to Rs600cr in long-term debt.

Bharti Airtel Q1FY20E Result Expectation India EBITDA margin is expected to decline on qoq basis while Africa is expected to remain flat.

Tata Global Beverages cons. PAT rises ~11% yoy to Rs142cr The branded business' revenue largely remained flat, while the non-branded business rose 26% yoy (contributed only ~13% to total revenue in Q1FY20).

Closing Bell: Nifty ends above 11,100, Sensex gains; IndusInd Bank up 5%, metal stocks shine.

Benchmark indices snapped 2 day's losing streak and ended higher on July 31 with Nifty finished above 11,100 level.

At close, the Sensex was up 83.88 points at 37,481.12, while Nifty was up 28.40 points at 11,113.80. About 1134 shares have advanced, 1333 shares declined, and 137 shares are unchanged. 

Zee Entertainment, Axis Bank, Bharti Airtel, Titan Company and Bharti Infratel were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers were IndusInd Bank, Yes Bank, IOC, Hero Motocorp and Tata Steel.

All the sectoral indices ended in the green led by the metal, auto, pharma, IT, infra, FMCG and energy.

HEADLINES OF THE DAY

Motilal Oswal Q1: Net profit up 24.6 percent at Rs 129.4 crore against Rs 103.8 crore, revenue up at Rs 609.2 crore against Rs 602.5 crore, YoY.

IOC Q1 net profit dips 41%:Oil marketing firm, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has posted 41 percent fall in its June quarter net profit at Rs 3,596.11 against Rs 6,099.3 crore in the quarter ended March 2019.

Allahabad Bank Q1: Net profit at Rs 128 crore versus loss of Rs 1,944.4 crore, while net interest income (NII) was down 10.2% at Rs 1,530.1 crore against Rs 1,703.6 crore, YoY. 

The crucial resistance for Nifty spot is now seen at 11360 and above this 11500 Support for the immediate term is now placed at 11060 next support will be 10960.
