Cyient Q1 consolidated net profit at Rs74 cr
Cyient has announced the following Q1 Unaudited results for the
quarter ended June 30, 2016 (YoY):
Standalone
For the Quarter ended June 30, 2016
Net Profit fell by 41.37% to Rs41.43 crore Vs Rs70.66 crore.
Total Income decreased by 14.65% to Rs320.12 crore Vs Rs375.10
crore.
Carborundum surges as HNIs buy shares via open market
Carborundum
Universal gained nearly 12%, touching to Rs257.6, after high net worth
individuals (HNIs) including Nemish Shah bought equity shares of the company
through the open market.
On
Wednesday, July 13, 2016, Nemish Shantilal Shah HUF had purchased 1.5 million
shares of Carborundum Universal at an average price of Rs230.25 per share, the
BSE bulk deal data shows.
Max India starts trading on BSE and NSE; hits lower circuit
Max India shares listed and started trading on the BSE and NSE
from today (14 July 2016); it would house healthcare business including
hospitals and health insurance.
Max India (formerly Taurus Ventures Limited) is locked in lower
circuit of 5% at Rs171, after opening at Rs180 on the National Stock Exchange
(NSE).
On the BSE, the stock locked lower circuit at Rs185, after opening
at Rs195.
Network 18 Media posts weak Q1FY2017 results
Network 18 Media Q1FY2017 – weak results driven by lower revenues
and aggressive investments in upgrading its news and digital properties
Network 18 reported loss of Rs49.7 crore as against net profit of
Rs42.8 crore in Q1FY2016 on account of a decline in revenues by 14.5% and
aggressive investments in TV18 Broadcast (rebranding and relaunch of news
channels) and upgradation of its digital properties.
June WPI Inflation at 1.62% Vs 0.79% (MoM)
Wholesale price index (WPI) inflation increased to 1.62% in June
against 0.79% in May, which was higher than forecast of 1.15%
